THE MAIN FEATURES OF URBANIZATION SPATIAL EVOLUTION IN UKRAINE

This paper investigates the development of urbanization processes and their main regional features in Ukraine, demonstrating the importance of the study of urbanization in a social context making emphasis on the fact that urbanization is a multifaceted and very complex process which, besides increasing the share of the urban population and intensive formation of cities, implicates a transformation of the whole spatial and structural organization of people's life, its qualitative characteristics, as well as involves changes life conditions and lifestyle.
